Saturday morning started off with a september monsoon of curtains of hard, warm rain that didn't clear until 35minutes before the Inochi Taiko performance at the Friends of Kubota Gardens annual meeting! The clouds & rain faded and the sun came out to accompany the trio's exciting new song which features the fue talent of Garrett Nakawatase. The performance was 20minutes but packed with jazzy percussion fused with traditional styled taiko.

It's too bad there were so many asian community events happening at the day-- the Aids Walk, the wingluke museum's blessing of the new museum location, the Eastside Nihon Matsuri, and this.
